Daylight Basement House Plans & Home Plans with Walkout Basement Level - Terrace Level Floor Plans

The various house plan types in this category all have one thing in common. They were designed by Garrell Associates to have an exposed, walkout or otherwise known as a daylight basement. This daylight foundation type works well on sloping lots that require a taller basement type for the house to accept the sloping terrain. In some cases the daylight basement can be forced onto a near flat or slightly sloped lot by backfilling around the front and sides of the unit. This backfill approach is more costly to build, but has been proven as market accepted in certain parts of the country.
