(EERE) Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy site, www.eere.energy.gov, to research for planning your new Garrell Associates green home plan. Mike Garrell began working with the D.O.E. (Southern Solar Energy Center in the early 80's. As well, the D.O.E. now has a very comprehensive data base for energy efficient home design.

October 5th, 2009 was another winning day for the team of Mike Garrell and Jim Klippel of Garrell Associates, as well as Dan DeJaicomo of DJ Homes and Rhonda White of RW Exchange. Camp Tranquility Playhouse, designed and built for Home Aid Atlanta, was given the only award - the 'Peoples Choice' award - out of the field of three playhouses that were built and auctioned off to the public. You can view a 360 degree tour of this playhouse at www.homeaidatlanta.com. Construction plans are available for purchase from Garrell Associates for $495.
